KEVIN Braniff crafted the first effort on note on 29 minutes with a header which Niall Morgan did well to tip past the post.

Braniff was involved again 11 minutes later when he crossed from the right only for Conor McCloskey to scuff his subsequent shot.

But the Ports did go in at the break in front when, two minutes into added time, Tim Mouncey was quickest to react after a Garry Breen header was blocked on the line.

Braniff did add a second on 74 minutes, however, when he guided the ball into the net from a right-sided Jamie Tomelty cross.

And Braniff completed the scoring right at the end of normal time when he met Morgan one-on-one to lift the ball over the advancing 'keeper.
