Tobermore United

Referee: Paddy McFadden

LIMAVADY'S new look team twice threw away a lead to neighbours Tobermore and crashed to a heavy 4-2 home defeat.

Leading 1-0 at half time through Lee Patrick's 13th minute looping header, the Roesiders had chances aplenty to put the game beyond reach by half time while the visitors were restricted to one early diving header by Patton.

Tobermore came out for the second half transformed. They levelled on 55 minutes when Lamont latched on to a long ball and outpaced the home defence to shoot low into the net.

Limavady regained the lead a minute later when Clarke's whipped cross was unfortunately turned into his own net by Neill. But Tobermore were level again five minutes later when McClements' free kick thumped off the bar and fell for Patton who made no mistake.

The visitors poured forward and took the lead on 74 minutes when Lamont robbed Moore, drew the keeper and scored with aplomb.

On 79 minutes substitute Batista completed the turnaround with a close range volley. Tobermore could have added to their tally in the last ten minutes as Limavady's lack of Pre-season preparation was cruelly exposed.
