WARRENPOINT started today's fixture as they finished their last as they conceded after only 4 minutes of open play when Limavady's midfield played a defence splitting ball through to Trevor Parkhill who made no mistake as he hit the back of the net to put the visitors ahead.

Warrenpoint showed their worth over the next 40 minutes when McMullan, Ebron, & Johnston all marked their cards with impressive goals, and to make things worse for the visitors McMullan then converted a penalty in the 45th minute when Ronan Kinney was fouled in the box.

The second half saw a real battle and also two sendings off. Both sides having several chances but the score-line remained 4-1, and Warrenpoint recorded their first win in Championship 1 football.
