David McVicker - Glebe Rangers

The IFA Championship Executive Committee at their meeting on Tuesday, 4th October, 2011 considered observations from Glebe Rangers regarding the eligibility of the above named player for the IFA Championship fixtures played on 06.08.2011, 16.08.2011 and 20.08.2011.

It was decided that a scoreline of 3-0 be recorded in favour of Glebe Rangers opponents in respect of the matches played against Warrenpoint Town, Ards and Newry City.

ROSS Arthurs fired Ards into the lead on 20 minutes when, from a seemingly unthreatening position, he delivered a 25 yards drive past 'keeper Matt McGraw which squeezed in at the right post.

Nathan McConnell added a second five minutes later after Arthurs turned provider to cross from the right for the former Ballymena United man to beat McGraw at the second attempt.

Glebe pulled one back a minute from the break through Peter Kennoway who reacted quickest to head home after Ards 'keeper Graeme McKibbin failed to gather a Brian Tosh cross.

However, the visitors restored their two-goal cushion on 61 minutes courtesy of a Jimmy McIlhagga header from a Mark Picking right wing cross.
