CELTIC and Dundela fought out a thriller despite atrocious conditions with Dundela shading it at the end.

Faulkner opened the scoring with a fine volley after a slack pass out of defence was seized on but Murnin equalised a minute later after Fitzpatrick and Haire combined.

Duns re-took the lead on 28 mins after Celtics McAreavey made poor contact with a header and only succeeded in putting the ball away from keeper Fox and Faulkner pounced for his second.

Murnin should have levelled after Fitzpatrick cut down the left and set him up but his shot sliced wide from 6yds.

The second half was five minutes old when Haire scored after a Fitzpatrick attempt from a corner was parried by the Duns keeper to level the scores once again but just two minutes from the end sub Roy planted a header into the net after a fine cross from another sub Lenehan to seal victory.
