DEFENDING holders Linfield await the winners of this JJB Sports Irish Cup tie after both sides cancelled each other out at Hagan Park.

Paul McIvor fired Newbuildings in front on 11 minutes with a finish into the bottom corner from a Stephen Curry pass.

However, Coagh levelled four minutes later after Steven Park turned a Scott McGeown cross from the right past Connor Thornton.

Moore might have redeemed himself later in the half while Marcus Dallas and Jonathan Black came close for Coagh.

After the break Newbuildings 'keeper Thornton did well to save from Black.

And his opposite number, Jonathan Yorke, also had to be at the top of his game when he produced a flying save to deny Ricky-Lee Dougherty.

The sides meet again at Hagan Park on Monday 20th, kick-off 2pm with that trip to Windsor Park awaiting the victors.
