Donegal Celtic 2-1 Loughgall
Ladbrokes.com Championship - Saturday, 18th April, 2009
DONEGAL Celtic moved a step closer to a return to senior football with this crucial defeat of morning leaders Loughall at Celtic Park.

The Villagers moved in front after just 74 seconds when a mix-up in the home defence saw an attempted clearance rebound off Alan Murphy and into the net.

But Celtic were back on level terms on six minutes after Barry Spence converted from the spot after Ciaran Gargan had been brought down.

And they took the lead 20 minutes later through Daniel Lyons who got his head to a Stephen McAlorum delivery eight yards from goal.

There was no way back for the visitors after the break, their cause not being helped by the dismissals of first Murphy and then, late in the game, Lukasz Adamczyk.
